1. Overall Solution Overview
This solution adopts embedded anchor bolt foundation structure, separate foundation construction and stand assembly. 2. Pre-Construction Preparation
2.1 Site Positioning Standard
The center of concrete foundation shall be ≥600 mm outside the basketball court end line.
Ensure horizontal distance between vertical pole and backboard rear ≥1200 mm to avoid athlete collision.
Check underground pipelines (electric wire, water pipe, gas pipeline) before excavation to prevent damage.

2.3 Product Inspection
Check anchor plate, anchor bolts, main pole, support arm, backboard, rim and all fasteners; confirm no deformation, crack or thread damage.
3. Foundation Construction Scheme (Core Standard)
3.1 Excavation Specification
Minimum pit dimension: 700mm(L) ×700mm(W) ×800mm(D)
Recommended standard specification (school & public projects): 800mm×800mm×1000mm
Frost areas (North China including Hebei): Pit depth ≥1000–1200mm (below frost penetration line)
Windy open sites / soft soil foundation: Expand pit size to 1000mm×1000mm×1200mm
3.2 Cushion Treatment
Compact the pit bottom evenly, lay 100 mm thick graded gravel as drainage cushion to prevent foundation water soaking and frost heave.
3.3 Embedded Anchor Frame Positioning
Place the galvanized anchor assembly into the pit, suspend with wooden supports; do not directly rest on gravel.
Adjust horizontal level: horizontal tolerance ≤3 mm.
Coat anchor bolt threads with anti-rust grease and wrap with adhesive tape to avoid concrete contamination.
Fix supports firmly to prevent displacement during concrete pouring.
3.4 Concrete Pouring
Concrete grade: Minimum C25; C30 is strongly recommended for high-frequency use venues.
Pour concrete in layers, fully vibrate to eliminate internal voids.
Make a slight outward slope on the top concrete surface to drain rainwater away from the pole base.
Control foundation top surface 0–10 mm lower than finished ground.
3.5 Concrete Curing (Mandatory)
Minimum curing period: 7 days
Suggested curing period for outdoor projects: 10 days
❌ Do not install the main pole or bear any impact load before full curing. Early operation will cause foundation offset and stand tilting.
4. Basketball Stand Assembly Process
Remove protective tape and clean anchor bolt threads.
Hoist the main vertical pole, align flange holes with anchor bolts.
Tighten nuts diagonally and gradually to ensure uniform stress.
Use spirit level to calibrate verticality of the pole; vertical deviation ≤1‰.
Install support arm, backboard fixing bracket.
Mount backboard; adjust flatness and fastening torque.
Install basketball rim. Standard height: 3050 mm from finished ground to the top edge of rim.
Hang the basketball net.
5. Safety Acceptance Standard
Retighten all bolts 24 hours after assembly.
Shake the stand manually; no obvious loose shaking or abnormal noise.
Anti-overturn safety factor ≥1.5, suitable for regular dunking impact.
